1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the services of 485 Document Preparation ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Nature of Services

IMPORTANT: We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice. We provide document preparation services only, based on information you provide and publicly available USCIS instructions.

Our services include:

  • Assisting with completing immigration forms based on information you provide
  • Providing document checklists and filing instructions
  • Reviewing forms for completeness and consistency
  • Answering questions about the form preparation process

Our services do NOT include:

  • Legal advice or legal analysis
  • Determining your eligibility for immigration benefits
  • Representing you before USCIS or any government agency
  • Interpreting laws or regulations
  • Advising on complex legal issues

3. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Reviewing all documents before signing
  • Determining your own eligibility for immigration benefits
  • Seeking legal advice for complex issues or if you are unsure about eligibility
  • Submitting documents to USCIS and paying USCIS fees
  • Attending all required appointments (biometrics, interviews)
  • Responding to any USCIS requests

4. Payment and Refunds

Payment is required before we begin work on your case. Our fees are for document preparation services only and do not include USCIS filing fees.

Refund Policy:

  • Full refund available if requested within 72 hours of payment and before we begin work
  • 50% refund if work has begun but forms are not yet completed
  • No refund once forms have been completed and delivered to you
  • USCIS filing fees are never refundable

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for our services. We are not liable for:

  • USCIS decisions on your case
  • Delays in processing
  • Errors in information you provided to us
  • Changes in immigration law or policy
  • Consequential or incidental damages

6. No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee any specific outcome, approval, or processing time. USCIS makes all final decisions on immigration applications.

7. Confidentiality

We maintain the confidentiality of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. However, we may disclose information if required by law or court order.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Your State]. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of [Your County, State].

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
